Children of Eleanor Tinsley – Eleanor Tinsley was a long-serving City Council member and HISD board member; her children attended Red Elementary.

While our school highlights a proud history and a community of accomplished alumni, specific names beyond these are not widely documented. Red Elementary’s distinguished alumni list is brief—likely because many graduates go on to serve their community in quieter but impactful ways. The focus seems to be more on collective legacy than celebrity.
