As of July 1, 2025, the HISD IT Service Desk is no longer available for phone or email support.
For the 2025–2026 school year, technology users now have access to a variety of self-service tools, automated support, and AI-driven solutions.

To support this transition, HISD is introducing AskIT, our new virtual IT agent. Whether you're dealing with hardware issues or have questions about applications, AskIT will guide you through a series of prompts to deliver a customized solution—anytime, anywhere.

You can also explore the HISD Solution Center, which includes quick reference guides, training materials, FAQs, and how-to videos to help you troubleshoot and learn independently.

For password management:

Staff can reset their passwords using the HISD Access tool.

Students can have their passwords reset by FastPass Agents.
